Thank you for wanting to make a one-time or ongoing donation to our Parish! Please review the following DONATION OPTIONS  

Yes, I want to stand with my parish 

during this difficult time!

We understand that many people are experiencing financial difficulties at this time and may not be able to make a financial contribution to St. John’s Parish. It is our hope that others who may be able to contribute will maintain or increase their donations to stand in financial support of our parish.  

It is now possible for you to make your offertory contributions in 3 ways: 

  1. NEW!  one-time donations using e-transfer (through your financial institution)
  2. Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) program – signup required (see below) 
  3. cheque – mailing to the Parish Office: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 38 Wilson St. E., Perth, ON K7H 1L6 

How do I make a one-time e-transfer donation?

Sign in to your online banking: 

  1. Go to e-transfers
  2. Add Payee: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Perth ON
  3. Add Payee contact information: stjohnperthdonations@gmail.com 
  4. Click Save 
  5. Click Make a Payment section
  6. Select Payee (i.e. St. John the Baptist Catholic Church)
  7. Enter the desired amount
  8. If you want this donation applied as an income tax credit, in the Message section add: 
    1. Your Name (first & last),and
    2. One of the following:
      1. ENV # (your 2020 parish offertory envelope number) 
      2. ENV Forgot (If you forgot your envelope number, or) 
      3. ENV None & CONTACT Info (plus your email or contact number) 

For example: John Smith, ENV 999 or John Smith ENV Forgot or ENV None email@gmail.com or 613-111-1111.

  1. Click Continue and Confirm.

You’re done. The funds will be automatically transferred to the parish as a general donation.  It will be verified by the parish secretary and then applied to your income tax credit.

Note: If you are not comfortable sending your name in the e-transfer Message section (#8 above), please send a separate email to stjohnperthdonations@gmail.com with: 

  1. Your Name (first & last)
  2. Your 2020 Parish offertory envelope number (if you have one)
  3. e-transfer date & time  
  4. e-transfer amount 

For example, John Smith, ENV 999, Apr 12, 2020, 11am, $50.00

It will be verified by the parish secretary and then applied to your income tax credit.

How do I make regular monthly donations? 

You have the option of joining our once-a-month Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) program.

  1. Go to our parish website Home Page: stjohnperthontario.com 
  2. Click and print the Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Application Form 
  3. Determine your desired monthly contribution amount (remember to factor 4.3 weeks in a month), for example:

$20/week x 4.3 $  86.00/month
$25/week x 4.3 $108.00/month
$50/week x 4.3 $215.00/month
$100/week x 4.3 $430.00/month

  1. Completely fill out & sign the application form and attach a blank VOID cheque.
  2. Deliver the application form to our Parish Office, either by mail or by special arrangements with Father Charles Enyinna (frenyinnia@yahoo.com)
  3. If your application arrives before the 10th of the month, it will be applied to the current month. Otherwise it will commence the following month.

We rely on your regular offertory giving to both sustain and grow our parish of St. John the Baptist. By making your offerings you are providing crucial support to carry your parish forward during this difficult time.
