Catholic Women’s League

Rooted in gospel values, we are the largest national organization and united voice of all Catholic women. We contribute to the life and vitality of the church, family and community at home and in the world.

IF you believe in the sanctity of human life,
IF you want to develop a deeper spiritual life,
IF you uphold the dignity of all human beings,
IF you believe women play an important role in church and society,
IF you strive to set a Christian example in your home and work place,
IF you believe in Catholic education and affordable health services,
IF you believe in the power of prayer,
THEN you belong with us!

We want to give you an opportunity to share your God-given gifts with us as we try to affect change in our parish, community, Canada and in those countries that have not been blessed with the abundance we enjoy in Canada.

Meetings

St. John the Baptist Council of The Catholic Women’s League of Canada generally meets on the first Tuesday of the month (except July and August) at 15 Church Street.

Other gatherings, such as workgroup and social activities, occur throughout the year and are announced in email newsletters, in the weekly church bulletin or on the League’s bulletin boards in the church.
